Sisters in Fellowship 10 May 2025.

Who would have thought that a simple afternoon tea at a humble church behind Escombe Spar could hold such richness? Yet it became a truly God-inspired gathering. Heartfelt thanks go to Belinda and her dedicated team — Rose, Desiree, Noelene, and Kubesh — whose devotion and efforts created an atmosphere filled with grace and meaning.
From the moment guests entered, peace and warmth surrounded every table, adorned with fresh roses, Scripture bookmarks, and thoughtful sweets. Belinda’s gentle welcome set the tone, followed by Letitia’s calm and sincere prayer. Jessie brought energy and connection through a creative icebreaker with Bible-based questions.
Praise and worship flowed beautifully with Vee on guitar and Lili on piano and vocals, joined by Kammy leading the song “Known and Loved.” Sandy then warmly introduced Dr. Lili Marais, engaging the audience with thoughtful questions before handing over to Lili.
Dr. Lili Marais shared a deeply moving reflection on Psalm 139, reminding all of God’s intimate care for His daughters. She spoke to the hearts of every woman present, affirming that each of us is fully known and wonderfully made. God’s thoughts toward us are countless, and His presence constant. Lili’s message was both a comfort and a call: for every woman of God to live with confidence that she is seen, loved, and led by the Creator.
The afternoon tea touched hearts, stirred faith, and left a lasting sense of God’s presence among us. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy and peace found in fellowship with one another and with Him.
