Impacting Children with the Love of Jesus
What a wonderful and inspiring day we had at our Children’s Ministry Training! From the very start, we were reminded that our calling is to show children the love of Jesus. For some, we might be the only glimpse of His love, grace, and truth they ever see — and that’s such a beautiful responsibility.
As teachers and helpers, we may not see the results right away, but God works in His perfect time. Our part is to plant seeds of faith and love, serve faithfully for His glory, and trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest.
Our first session focused on including children with special needs. We learned how to make every child feel seen, safe, and valued — by involving parents, keeping routines, using visuals, and creating an atmosphere filled with grace rather than perfection. Every child learns differently, and each one matters deeply to God.
The second session reminded us that discipline isn’t about punishment but about guiding hearts with love. True discipline brings freedom — helping children grow within loving boundaries, explore with confidence, and make choices that honor God. Structure and grace work beautifully together when our goal is to reflect God’s heart.
We ended the day encouraged and thankful, reminded that teaching children is holy work. Even if we don’t see the fruit immediately, the seeds we plant in love will grow in God’s perfect time. 🌱💛
